Alvin, you're like me with that thought about a breeze - yes, I pretty much think that standing on a mountain with a warm winding blowing is one of the most basic, good feelings ever.

Alvin, really like your life coaches blog - thanks for pointing it out! Anna, also really liked your blog and all the links on it - I like that you took me to the intuitive blog - thank you. And you guys, check out Chris' blog - it's very cool. And Karmon's blog is very life-like, plus he's a Billy Collins fan - yes! And, I've been a very regular and happy reader of Dave's blog for a long time.

grimo1re, that is so basic and right. yeah!

You guys are absolutely the best!

It's a great feeling to get a blog up. And such a superb feeling to get answers from people reading it (as Anna Farmery points out!) Especially on question day. Thank you guys very much for posting answers to this question!

Nick, yes, it must be.

Dave, thank you for the kind, fun link from <a href="www.davidseah.com" rel="nofollow">www.davidseah.com</a>! You know who else agrees with you that the best thing in the world is "me being in the world"? <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0060920432/qid=1151893025/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/103-2092689-2109423?s=books&v=glance&n=283155" rel="nofollow">Mike Csikszentmihalyi</a>. In speaking at a conference, in answer to what one question would he want to ask every person on earth, he said, <strong>"To what degree are you glad to be alive?"</strong> Dave, your comments make me think of that! Also, really like the Wyrms-related thoughts... heart and head.

Chris and Mary - you both answer about holding a six-month-old, and yes, do I ever agree with you! Kids, and especially your own (like Chris your son, and Mary your niece), are almost by definition the best thing in the world. I totally agree with you guys. Anna also mentions a hug from a child. YES!

Karmon, I really like your one about the hammock and a good book. And I agree with you about taking a moment. Especially on the weekends. Yes.

Karmon and Anna, you both mention your own bed, and that is so true. It's really just moments, isn't it? And liking those moments a lot.

Dave and Anna, you mention that spark of insight in someone and seeing someone succeed and grow. Vito, you bring up hearing someone talk about their passion. I think what you guys are saying actually unconsciously drives a lot of people, including me.

Anna and Vito, you both mention presents that surprise!

Karmon and Vito, you both mention music and both mention sunny days.

Hello makeourlifebetter.com, and thanks for the link.

I guess my summary is that great things are great! So glad to hear which things you think are the best things in the world! Thank you!

Thanks you guys. A lot.
Catch you soon.

My best,
Senia

Mmm, good things tied up in good memories...some things:

* contented noises (like purring, chirps, and sighs)
* the smell of mom's cooking, and other smells from the past
* the achey feeling from a workout the day before, shooed away by a luxuriously long and languid stretch before you get out of bed
* finding solitude amidst a sea of happy strangers
* crushed/shaved ice in a light and fizzy drink on a hot summer day
* live music that's really alive, then gone
* listening to someone talk excitedly about their passion
* receiving a present that is unexpectedly and totally you, and you never knew it.

For today it would be England beating Portugal in the World Cup but in general
A genuine thank you for making someones day
A smile
Being in love (mind you I am a piscean!)
Giving presents that you know will surprise
Seeing someone you lead grow and succeed
A hug - especially from a child (Piscean again!)
Getting a comment on your blog or audio on your podcast!
Visiting your 96 yr old nana and seeing her smile as you go through the door
Having an idea and watching it grow
Getting into your own bed after being away - especially after a long journey...mmmmm

My list of GOOD things is very long... but the very BEST thing has to be holding my six month old niece when she's sleepy. She snuggles in against my neck and all the bones in her body seem to disappear as she molds her tiny little body against my shoulder.

Second best... sitting at Fenway Park on a warm summer evening, with a friend at your side. The Red Sox would be winning of course.
