Q: What quotes of yours … in a quotes book?!

Q: What quotes of yours would you want to be in a quotes compilation book?

* What is something that you say that your friends know sounds like a YOU-ism?
* What would you want attributed to you in a quote book? (For some reason, I am a little afraid of Scott-he-knows-who-I-mean answering this question in a public forum!)
* How would you describe life, the world, your main opinions?
* What are some of the most fun things you’ve ever said?
QUOTE YOURSELF!

Thanks! My answers are in the comments and look forward to your answers in the comments too! :)

  1. “Life is about living.”
    “You already know.”
    “Intuition knows what, not why.”
    “You can’t choreograph the world.”
“Happiness is … fresh fruit and sleep.”

This question seems hard! When I try to write something down, I start second-guessing it… even if it is something I say a lot! It’s nice to be able to turn to the written word for references. Sometimes the titles of my posts are phrases that I would repeat… Write Like a Map, Shoot for the moon and keep the day job, Doing can be easier than not doing, and Quantum Speech.

    Here’s something un-second-guessably me:

    “YAY”
    ~ Senia

  2. Hm, for me:

    “Hmm” (strokes chin thoughtfully)
    “I find that intriguing/irking…”
    “AWESOME!”
    “Good job, dude!”
“You can do ANYTHING you set yourself to!”

And if I’m in a more dark mood:

“Cut off his head if he tries anything. Like this.”

  3. “Okchuyeli!!!!!” (Used as if by Elochka, Lyudoyedochka, who managed to communicate with a meager 400 word vocabulary).

  4. Hmmm…. Only two come to mind this morning.

    1. When asked why, as a vegetarian, I still eat eggs”

    “It’s not a chicken, it’s a choice.”

    2. Just something I put in an email to a friend a couple weeks ago, at an appropriate time.

“I’m finding it harder and harder to live up to all the things that I apparently can’t live down.”

  5. Dave, I can see you saying “Hmm.” :)
This is definitely a tone that I sense from your posts all the time: “You can do ANYTHING you set yourself to!” I think “optimist” would have to be in the top ten words used to describe you – and probably me as well!

Yulia, I’d have to hear you say it!

Scott, cool-o! The “live up to the things” quote totally sounds like from a forture cookie. Sweet! (And it looks like I had nothing to be afraid of.) :)
